This is a stone bridge called Ichinose Bridge over upstream of Nakashima River at the area called Hotarujaya Teahouse taken by Felix Beato. The house on the left is the teahouse. Travelers took a rest here, and then turned left to Himi Pass onto Nagasaki Highway. There is a street vendor on the bridge. This photo is one of the oldest ones capturing this bridge. -6153-
