This is the mouth of Nagasaki harbour taken from a mountain behind Tomachi. The island in the centre is Takahoko Island, the tip of the peninsula on the right is Kanzakibana, and the tip protruding from the left is Megami. Takahoko Island was known to foreigners as the island of martyrs and a landmark for boats entering Nagasaki Harbour. -6160-
