This is a photo of Dr. Bauduin and Dr. Gratema taken at the studio in Dejima. Dr. Gratama was working together with Dr. Bauduin at the Army Medical School in Utrecht.｡｡He became a teacher at a science lab in Nagasaki in April, 1866. He was in charge of the management and pharmacy of the clinic which had changed the name to Seitokukan. He also gave lectures of natural science such as Chemistry, Physics, Pharmacy, Mineralogy, and Botany. -6285-
