This photo captures the Bauduin brothers and their nephew F. De Ruiter at the studio in Dejima. Ruiter was a medical doctor who also graduated from the Utrecht Army Medical School, the same school as Dr. Bauduin. He taught medicine for one year at Igakukan Medical School in Okayama Domain. The leather chair and table of the studio often appear in his photos. A Goza mattress is placed underneath. -6290-
