The graves of Shinentai Samurai who perished in the Ou Rebellion and the attack on Hakodate in 1868. These do not exist at present, but a stone monument entitled "site of the Former Ukegasaki Shokonsha and Tombs" stands in a corner of Daitokuji Park in Nishikoshima-machi, indicating that Sako Shinto Shrine had been moved there. From the February 1, 1981 edition of The Far East.
