The Otokozaka which is the steep slope to the east of the Atago Shrine. Although it is called "100 steps ",there are actually only 86 steps. The present slope was built in 1966. It is famous for the Kodan and Rokyoku story "Kanei Sanbajutsu." A tea house can be seen by the torii. Onnazaka climbs less steeply to the right with 109 steps.
