The Kara Gate is the entrance gate of the main building of tomb of Tokugawa Iemitsu, the Daiyuin. A male crane and a female crane are seen under the barge, and a white dragon is carved in the girders. In front of the fence from the Kara Gate are lanterns donated by the three Tokugawa families, and other lords.
