Beato photo of the Kaisando at Kofukuji temple and the Kojiyamachi street around 1864. This is one of the oldest photo of the street in Nagasaki in the late Edo Period. The middle of street was paved with stones, and the street leading to Teramachi was connected by stone steps, which was made into slope in after years.
