The turning and hanging lanterns donated by the Dutch King is placed by the Honchido in front of the Yomei Gate. The Aoi (mallow) emblem is upside down, so it is also called the turning lantern of "Sakasa Mon" (upside-down emblem). The hanging lantern has a eight-sided hip roof and is covered with a bronze net.
