This is the Nagara Shrine to the south of Miidera (Sonjoji). During the Asuka Era, Emperor Tenchi became a disciple of Takehaya Susanoo no Mikoto and worshipped the deity of Iwakuradani at Nagarayama. In 860, the high-ranking priest Enchin is said to have co-enshrined Oyama Kuino Mikoto here and worshipped it as the guardian of Enjoji.
