Sensoji, the oldest Kannon worshipping temple in Japan, dates back to the days of the Empress Suiko in 628. The photo is the view through the Kaminari Gate with the main gate and five-story pagoda. The 100 Edo scenes by Hiroshige include a print with the same structure.
