The view of the Higashimochiya of Wada range in Wadajuku, the most difficult pass on the Nakasendo. There were five tea houses, and was a resting spot. Inhabitants also played the role of rescue workers for the travelers, so a "fuji" was provided per person (5 "go" of unpolished rice a day).
