The north corridor of Miei-do at Chion-in Temple is seen from the east. The temple's main hall, Miei-do contains the figure of the founder, Honen. The girder and cross beams are about 20m and 16m in length. The single-story irimoya-style building has a tiled roof. It was reconstructed in 1639.
