This is a farming village by a river. The water level is low, the flow is gentle, and the sandbank is visible. The stone embankment is built to prevent erosion. Houses with straw roofs and ceramic tiled roofs are built on relatively higher ground as a precaution for flooding and are connected by a small road. The rice crop hung out to dry indicates autumn. This may be an area near the source of the Hozu River in Kameoka. A bamboo grove is visible in the background.
