This is the street near the southern edge of Ueno Park. It passes in front of Kiyomizu Kan'non-do, where Senju Kan'non (The Thousand Armed Deity of Mercy) is enshrined. There is a hall constructed in an overhang style like the terrace at Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. The people walking down the street may be a family. A rickshaw man is apparently offering his services.
