Photographer unknown. Entitled "No. 338 GATE OF ENOSHIMA." This is Chaya-machi in the Meiji Period. The bronze torii gate with the name plate "Enoshima Shrine" (existent) stands in the centre. Behind it are inns such as Ebisuya Mohachi. The dates, 1747 and 1821 (in Japanese calendar years) are carved on the gate.
