Distant view of the Kanazawa Hakkei ( "Eight Scenic Places of Kanazawa "), possibly from Nokendo. Muronoki is on the right, Suzaki Village is on the other side of Hiragata Bay, Machiya Village is on the left, and Nojima is visible on the far left. Nokendo was known for its excellent view of the "eight scenes." However, it was destroyed by fire in 1871 and never rebuilt.
