Two children stand at the point where Sannenzaka changes to Ninenzaka on Yasaka Street in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto. The five-story pagoda of Eikanji Temple can be seen ahead. Eikanji is an ancient temple dating back to the Heian era, but in the present temple, only this pagoda and a small temple remain from the restoration of the Muromachi period.
