A wooden board written with the words "Chigira Jinsentei" is hanging on the pole. Japanese Inn at Ikaho Onsen (Ikaho Spring), Gunma. Roka Tokutomi, the greatest writer in Meiji period, usually stayed here. This is the inner garden of a key-shaped two-story building, with people in and outside the building all looking at the camera. The gas lamp in the right corner evokes the atmosphere of the "dawn of Western civilization ".
