The Kamibashi Bridge over Daiyagawa was painted red and located at the entrance of Nikko Shaji. Lost in a flood in 1902, the bridge had joints in the bridge girder as shown in the left side of the photo. The present Kamibashi has no joints in the bridge girder. There are no utility poles seen in the photo on the right hand Rinoji Temple side.
