Medaki waterfall at Nunobiki Falls, the same as photographs #2807, #4682 and #4870, taken in the first half of the Meiji Period. Nunobiki Falls has been a popular tourist spot since ancient times, and after the opening of Kobe port many foreigners visited here on hiking excursions from the foreign settlement. The spot was also introduced in guidebooks for foreign tourists.
