| This is the original Yokohama Station designed by American architect R. P. Bridgens and built in 1871. The building is of stone and wood construction. This is the site of present-day Sakuragi-cho Station. Since the bridge is of iron construction, this photograph must have been taken after 1885. The shack by the river is a public lavatory. |
