Chokugaku Gate at Yushoin Mausoleum, located outside the Hall of Worship, is viewed from the southeast. Although probably staged, the photograph depicts a man kneeling on the stone steps and a Buddhist monk touching the gatepost engraved with dragons. It is said that the stone lanterns donated by the feudal lords numbered more than one thousand.
