This is a view of Nagasaki Harbour from the hillside behind Tomachi. The island in the centre is Takahoko, the tip of the peninsula on the right is Kanzakibana, and Kaminoshima is behind it. Also known as Pappenberg, Takahoko was famous abroad as the site of Christian martyrdoms in the 17th century.
