The Buddha and bell tower at Shinkoji Temple. The Go (Buddhist name) of Shinkoji is Seigetsuzan. The temple is known as the place where Ippen Chishin, founder of the Jishu Sect,passed away. In the tomb of Ippen within the temple stands the Ippen tombstone (Gorin tower) which was built between the end of the Kamakura period and the Nambokucho period.
