The head temple of the Washu Sect, located in the present Tennoji district of Osaka City. It has names such as Koryouji, Nanbaji, Mitsuji, and Tennoji. The complex consists of the middle gate, five-story pagoda, golden hall of worship and auditorium all arranged in a straight line. The present temple buildings are reinforced concrete structures completed in 1963.
