This may be the bronze bell at Jorakuji Temple (important national treasure). Jorakuji was built by Hojo Yasutoki, and a priest from china named Rankei Doryu designed the temple in Zen style, establishing Zen Buddhism in japan for the first time. The bronze bell has "1248" inscribed on it, and is said to have been made by Hojo Tokiyori in commemoration of Hojo Yasutoki.
