Written "September 7, 1865" by Beato. In the distance to the left are the characters "Within the Iwakame house ". It is probably a brothel in Minatozaki-cho of Otaya Shinden Numachi at the back of the foreign settlement in Yokohama. It was destroyed in the fire of 1866 and moved to the Yoshida Shinden (presently the Shinyoshiwara Nakano-cho) the following year.
