The formal name is Kumata Shinto Shrine. It was built by the son and grandson of Sakanoueno Tamuramaro. The main object of worship is Susanoo. It is known for its old gingko and camphor trees in the approach and shrine compounds, as well as for the Buddha, pictures and other shrine treasures.
