| The Nikozan Shrine of Chuguji on the north bank of Chuzenji Lake. Along the lake stands huts of religious ascetics. Due to the 1902 avalanche of rocks and earth, the Kannondo in the centre of the photo and huts to the left of the torii were destroyed. A boatsman takes the helm and four women do their washing. |
