"The wisteria trellis at Kameido Tenjin was famous from the Edo era and has been portrayed in ukiyoe (wood block prints) and nishikie (coloured prints). The wisteria trellis in the photo was destroyed during World War¶, and the present trellis was restored after the war. The arched bridge in the background has been replaced with a concrete bridge without bridge girders."
